Peter Norman has many years experience in the business world having worked first for a Lloyd’s Reinsurance Broker managing North American catastrophe risks before being seconded to Chicago.
He then worked for a management consultancy providing advice on Business Development before setting up a corporate finance boutique within the firm specialising in technology and mobile communications.
In 1990 he set up his own company to provide services on mergers & acquisitions and equity finance and in 1995 he co-founded and was commercial director for a technology company in mobile data that went on to float on the stock exchange.
More recently he has been running a small holiday letting business.
He has been a vocal environmental campaigner in opposing the development of greenfield sites around Newbury, most notably Sandleford. He has helped with the online charity Youthnet and is currently a governor at St Bartholomew’s School.
